The Bayougoula Stern Line

$25.00

The Bayougoula Stern Line takes its name from the Muskogean word “Bayougoula,” which translates to “bayou people.” The Bayougoula were a Native American tribe that once inhabited the region just south of present-day Baton Rouge, Louisiana. The Bayougoula tribe was mostly wiped out by other tribes and disease. This Stern Line pays tribute to the lost tribe that called the Baton Rouge area their home.

Each of our nautical sunglass straps are made using high quality flat braided polypropylene rope, branded silicone end pieces, fine laser engraved leather, and solid brass rivets. Every single one is hand crafted in Charleston and made to withstand the elements. Our sunglass straps are machine washable and dryable. They air dry very quickly as well.
